A few weeks ago we had a tea time talk about rhythm in Irish music. We got to talking about dancing and playing different time signatures and then dancing to different instruments. Towards the end we started talking about dancing to the flute and lilting. One of the features that makes this such a fun to dance to is the breath that is both forms.
