Portland Set Dancing hosts weekly and monthly Irish set dancing in Portland, Oregon. All dances are taught and called, and beginners are welcome. No partner or experience needed.

Join us for an evening of Irish set dancing with live music and a caller to guide you through every dance.

No partner or experience needed. All dances are taught and called, making this a welcoming event for beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Bring friends, family, or come on your own. Céilí dancing is all about community, laughter, and enjoying great music together.

Monthly Dancing

3rd Friday Céilí

Join us on the third Friday of every month for an evening of Irish music, dancing, and community at Portland’s 3rd Friday Céilí.

Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or have been dancing for years, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to join in. All dances are taught and called, making this event accessible to dancers of all experience levels.

A beginner-friendly lesson begins at 7:00 PM, followed by an evening of dancing to live music. No partner or previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome.

Come enjoy the music, meet new friends, and experience one of Ireland’s great social traditions.
