Simon Harmer

5-19-2021 – Our weekly tea time talks have brought so many people together in conversation. I have been able to connect with people I haven’t seen in years. We have been able to meet so many folks from around the world. But I think my biggest joy had been getting to meet and know Simon. He has been such insight to our talks and I’m delighted when he joins our weekly talk. I alway want to hear more from him and I am very excited to have him as the featured guest this week.

2-16-2021 Keep Her Lit | Acapella Jig

In this keep her lit session we danced each step by its self. We ended by dancing all the steps in order once at the end of class. The next woodshed we will dance the whole routine. You can find the breakdown of all of the steps here if you want to be able to go to a specific step without having to watch the whole class.

Here is a performance version of the Acapella jig with the Maldon Meehan Dancers. We do a call and response with each step. Group 1 and group 2 dancing some of the step in a call and response pattern and some of the step all together. We usually dance the run on steps call and response.
