notes

Note that after every variation of a “run on step” there is a “tip step”, like an A and B part of a tune.

If you are struggling with keeping track of where your weight is, remember that every time you use a tap your weight is on the opposite leg and every time you step you transfer your weight to the other leg. Once you master the control of your weight with taps and steps many doors will open to you in your ability to improv. If you use a tap then you can use the same foot for your next step and if you you use a step you can use the opposite foot for your next step. Having command of this allows you to have the freedom to start any movement with any foot. A game changer when you get yourself into an improv pickle!
