Mairéad is my teacher for sean-nós dance.
I was lucky to attend her and Mick’s class at the Willie Clancy Summer School for many years. Each summer, I’d go for the week just to dance with the two of them. I feel that much of my own style of dancing has grown from Mairéad, Mick, and Róisín’s teaching and style. I’m so grateful for YouTube and the chance to continue to watch Mairéad dance from afar — her influence continues to guide and inspire me.
