Irish Set Dance Workshop with Colúr
Join renowned dance teacher Maldon Meehan and the members of Colúr for an evening of Irish set dancing accompanied by live traditional music.
Irish set dancing is one of Ireland’s most social and enjoyable dance traditions. Danced in groups of four couples, set dancing combines lively music, rhythmic movement, teamwork, and plenty of fun. Whether you’re looking to improve your dancing, learn new figures, or simply enjoy dancing to great live music, this workshop offers a welcoming and engaging experience.
Maldon Meehan brings decades of experience teaching Irish dance traditions throughout Ireland and North America. With live music provided by Colúr, dancers will experience the close connection between music and movement that lies at the heart of the tradition.
This workshop is suitable for dancers of all experience levels. No partner is required.
