Sean-nós Dance Class

Students will learn improvisation, performance and rhythmic footwork techniques to reels and jigs. The beginners class is accessible to all ages and levels. Intermediate students will build on what they have learned in previous classes as well as focus on performing. Please bring smooth leather soled shoes.

 

 

Percussive Choreography Class

This class will focus on improvisation, rhythmic footwork and performance techniques. It will draw from Cape Breton dance, Québécois, American Clogging, Sean-nós Dance, Irish Old Style Step dance, English Waltz Clog and more. Please bring smooth leather soled shoes.

This is a company class and students should have taken a least one class with Maldon to enroll. They must be willing to perform using choreographed steps. Students are expected to perform with the Maldon Meehan Dancers.
